meeting with myself has really changed my life."
After her M.B.A., Cristina worked for 18 years in different corporations as a marketing and communication manager. She resigned from her former activity in 1992 and currently works as a freelance in the field. She presently lives in Milan, Italy and delivers Avatar.
I took Avatar in December, 1992.
It has been a striking experience. The meeting with myself has really changed
my life. Before Avatar, I built my life on a series of identities - or masks.
They were roles to play in order to be accepted by the world. So, I played the
good daughter, the good student and the good manager. I carried around this
last mask for 18 years; I sacrificed a lot of myself to it.
Since Avatar, I have started to experience the
possibility of just being myself, giving space to my emotions and my
willingness to live. It was like taking the cork off a champagne bottle. It was
like being born again.
I discover I can walk by myself. I recognize my
right to exist. To love and be loved. Simply for what I am, for how I am.
Simply, because I am and I am right here. And every day I live this emotion, in
every moment, in everything, with every person.
I now integrate the experience of the separation
created by roles, identities, masks.
My decision to deliver Avatar is a great sharing
experience in life with no limits.
