Editorial: Think Deliberately
In a world that nurtures convention and conformity, people sometimes forget they have the ability to think deliberately. Thinking deliberately is often regarded with suspicion by the "social
Normans" who have been indoctrinated in the scale of WHAT WILL PEOPLE THINK.
Using what others think to calculate which ideas should be displayed, resisted or concealed is not really thinking deliberately; rather it is an ineffectual effort to think manipulatively. The truth is, since we are not very good at looking inside each other's heads, people may not think what we believe they should think!
It is an awfully brave thing to think deliberately, to rely on no one's opinion nor to consult any fixed idea. Thinking deliberately takes a self-honesty and a measure of self-courage that few disciplines will ever teach. Why is it so hard? Perhaps it is be cause to do so is to recognize as well that there is nothing you can do about what other people are thinking.
It is an irony. In the same moment you assume responsibility for your own thoughts and acquire the ability to deliberately choose which thoughts you will entertain, you must abandon concern for what other people think. Letting go of any resistance or any desire about the design of another's thoughts is to awaken your own integrity and to enjoy the freedom inherent in the Art of Living Deliberately.

Star's Edge Trainer: An individual who has been extensively trained and apprenticed by Star's Edge Int. in the delivery technology of Avatar
Wizard: A graduate of Section V of the Avatar Materials who is aware of the mission of humankind
