Belief Management: The Key to Success by Harry Palmer

In 1989, Avatar® began to drift into the world business communities. Entrepreneurs and small business owners became the first to cash in on the "metaphysical advantage" that the Avatar Materials afforded them. Reports of successful new enterprises and doubling, tripling, and even quadrupling of profits were common place among the Avatar graduates. Of course, such news spread rapidly and by early in 1989, some major corporations began listening to what the Avatar Masters were offering to sell them. When the Star's Edge Trainers went to France to deliver a Masters Course, they were surprised to find a number of European Common Market executives rolling up their sleeves, right along side the usual assortment of counselors and physicians, and pitching in to master the Avatar tools! By the Autumn of 1989, with the International Gross Income from Avatar slipping by the ten million dollar mark, it was apparent that metaphysics, long relegated to Ashrams and college philosophy classes, and modern business practices had found a powerful connection via the Avatar Materials. More and more Masters began reporting that among the Chi pants and T-shirts at their free seminars, a lot of suits were appearing!

If you haven't yet accepted the idea "consciousness knows what it is doing", let me offer another idea, "sometimes the best advertising campaigns happen by accident." When we surveyed to find the reason for this rapid rise in demand for Avatar training, we discovered that three "buzz phrases", used by Avatar Masters, had flashed through the business world, fueled by some hidden recognition in nearly everyone who heard them.

1. "METAPHYSICAL ADVANTAGE"

One needs to grasp the following principles about the origin and structure of reality to understand what is a metaphysical advantage. The first principle will become self-evident after a period of contemplation or after a short discussion with an Avatar Master:

reality is not the source of reality; consciousness is the source of reality.

The second principle has to do with description and difference. Creations (including creatures) are described by (or within) the limits of what they can do, what they can be, or by the limits of the space they occupy. As soon as a creation is described, it becomes different from every other creation. Every individual (creature) is a described (limited) fragment of the consciousness that is the source of all reality. How much an individual can create or influence reality is limited by his or her insistence upon maintaining some restrictive description, or self-identity.

Real success, ultimately, is determined by the scope of reality that one can create or influence

Metaphysical advantage is achieved by moving "upstream" of the restrictive description and by setting goals and accounting in a manner that goes beyond individual description or difference.

Real success, ultimately, is determined by the scope of reality that one can create or influence. When competition exists over who will decide or influence reality,...the final outcome WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE PERSON WHO HAS ACHIEVED A METAPHYSICAL ADVANTAGE!

 2. "CHEWING ON YOUR OWN TAIL"

Are your goals in alignment with your personal beliefs? If not, you may have self-sabotaging beliefs and be "chewing on your own tail".

Many people hold beliefs or have convictions that conflict with, or bring into conflict, the goals they wish to accomplish.

For example, Bob is most happy when he thinks of himself as a caring person. Bob also wants to be successful and have money. Neither of these goals would necessarily be in conflict, except Bob also has an uninspected belief; "successful people don't care about anyone else." The result is that Bob is left chewing on his own tail. He has a self-sabotaging belief. With such a belief, even if he manages to succeed and become affluent, he will most likely be happy.

The symptoms of self-sabotaging beliefs are STRESS, WORRY, EXHAUSTION, PROBLEMS. Prior to Avatar training, which allows people to actually (not pretend) change their beliefs, these symptoms were often considered the "dues" or "rights of passage" one had to pay to succeed. We now know that even these ideas are just more self-sabotaging beliefs!

If you want to check your "self" for sabotaging beliefs, make a list of what you think a person has to be, do or have to be successful. Now go over the list and mark the items that your "self" would rather not be, do or have. People don't succeed because THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO CHANGE WHAT THEY BELIEVE.

 3. "BELIEF MANAGEMENT"

What people believe, individually and collectively, is the most important single factor determining the outcome of any enterprise. A salesman who believes his customer "will buy" is far more successful than any facade that one can present! Even luck seems to find its way to those who believe themselves "lucky" and demurs to offend for those who believe themselves "unlucky".

When Avatar Masters engage in belief management, they are not fooled by pretenses or the new age pabulum of "speaking positive". They observe the activity and instantly know what the actual beliefs are that are helping or impeding the operation. They are not subject to being mislead by excuses or explanation. Their understanding of the relationship between reality and belief is so high that they see clearly what might remain invisible to anyone else. More importantly, without forcing or invalidating, Avatar Masters can manage the environment from behind the scenes so that it strengthens helpful beliefs and eliminates impeding or self-sabotaging beliefs.

In the 90's successful businesses will place the same emphasis on belief management that they now place on "time", "performance" and "project" management.

The Writing Is On The Wall

My friend is an investment counselor and has a strong influence on a client base worth several hundred million. He is also an Avatar Master. We chatted and then after a long pause, his voice was hesitant at the other end of the phone. "Harry, I don't know if it's confidential or not, but I heard a rumor that a master approached______(a CEO of a large US corporation) about delivering him Avatar and was turned down?"

"Yea," I said. "It's no secret."

After he'd hung up, I wondered what the purpose of his call had been--and then I remembered what he did for a living!
